Here is a list of the top ten endangered animals in the world right now according to the World Wildlife Fund Organization (WWF)

1. Black Rhino- From 1970 this rhino population has decreased by 90%

2. Giant Panda- Apparently within a few years the Giant Panda population could face extinction

3. Tiger-They are mostly endangered because of poaching for body parts

4. Beluga Sturgeon – They are described as living fish fossils and are found in the Caspian Sea

5. Yangtze River Dolphin- Some believe this dolphin is extinct and others not. What do you think?

6. Alligator Snapping turtle- This turtle is the largest freshwater turtle from North America

7. Hawksbill Turtle-This species of turtle is found mainly in tropical reefs

8. Mountain Gorilla- This gorilla species is endangered because of habitat loss.

9. Green-Cheeked Parrot- This parrot lives in Mexico and can easily mimic human voices

10. Mako Shark- This animal species has a long lifespan and are easily unprotected to overfishing
